The Perfect Project

The Chaplet of Perfection

How to pray the Chaplet of Perfection.

The suggested time to pray the Chaplet of Perfection is 7:00 a.m., 7:00 p.m., or both, reflecting the biblical significance of seven as a symbol of perfection and completeness.

Perfection defined

"So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect." — Matthew 5:48

Perfection of the soul is a supernatural union with God through active charity—the love of God above all things and the love of neighbor for His sake. It is the soul's continual cooperation with grace to overcome sin, remove whatever impedes its love of God, and become more completely united to Him.

Perfection is not niceness, popularity, the approval of others, impeccable judgment in temporal matters, or imperviousness to being deceived. Absolute perfection belongs only to heaven, but the soul grows toward it in this life through increasingly steadfast and complete love of God and neighbor.
